About The Wordsmiths Project

The Wordsmiths Project is my personal interpretive portrait project for which I will be creating photo-imaged portraits of people behind the scenes in publishing… editors, publishers, agents, critics, and others who influence what we read. (Not authors for this year, though I may expand the project to include them later.)

I feel that sometimes you have to give yourself to creative projects that are meaningful on a larger scale than just earning a living or promoting a career. That is what gave me the push to create The Wordsmiths Project. Essentially, it’s a win/win situation in which I get to push myself creatively, while honoring people I respect.

If you have a suggestion of an individual you think I should consider including in The Wordsmiths Project, please send me an email, telling me a bit about that person and their contact information. Specifically, my subjects will be those who have made a significant contribution to publishing, or those young people who have that certain spark that indicates they are people to watch.
